Prehistoric Fossil. Extinct Class - Mosasaur Jaw - 5" with Display Stand. The Mosasaur fossil is found in the Phosphate mines of Khouribga, Morocco and is approximately 65 Million Years Old. This giant, meat-eating marine reptile lived during the late Cretaceous period. The Mosasaur grew up to 45 feet long, had four paddle-like limbs on a long, streamlined body and possessed a very powerful tail. This sea monster was one of the deadliest hunters of the ancient seas and used its snout to locate prey, which, once inside the menacing jaws was swallowed whole.
These specimens are composed of Genuine Fossilized Mosasaur Teeth reconstructed in cementitious sediment to approximate original Jaw. Price includes: Metal Display Stand. Shipping weight 3 lbs. Item photographed is representative sample.
